Every bicycle hired from us — regardless of the hire period or bike type — comes with the following as standard. There are no surprise extras at pick-up.
- Bicycle lock: A sturdy lock is included with every hire period, including hourly. Lock your bike securely whenever you step away.
- Cycling route map: A detailed printed map of Galle covering the Fort, the coastal road to Unawatuna, the rural backroads, and the Hikkaduwa route. Every hire, every hire period.
- Helmet: Included with all half-day hires and above. Hourly hirers may request a helmet for a small additional fee.
- Local advice: Before you set off, we will tell you everything you need to know — road conditions, best times to ride, and which route suits your fitness level and time available.
- Maintenance check (weekly and monthly hire): Bicycles hired for a week or more receive a complimentary mid-period service check. We will inspect brakes, gears, and tyres and sort any minor issues at no cost.
