How Tuk Tuk Rental Pricing Works
Our rates are tiered by rental length. The longer you keep the vehicle, the lower the daily rate, so a two-week trip costs less per day than a weekend. Insurance, unlimited kilometers, and support are included in the daily rate. The driving permit and a refundable deposit are charged separately, and both are set out below.

The Longer You Rent, the More You Save
The tiered rates give you up to 25% off without any code. A tuk tuk is USD 24 per day for a short trip and USD 18 per day for 16 days or more, a saving of 25%. Motorbikes and scooters save even more at their longest tier.
That saving is built into the table above. It is not a limited-time deal, so you do not need to rush a booking to get it.

Discount codes apply on top of the tiered price, so a long booking with a code saves more than 25%. Codes are entered at checkout.

- LTR15: Long-Term Rental, 20% off, for bookings of 25 days or more
- OS: Off-Season Rate, USD 25 off, for bookings of 10 days or more
For example, a 25-day tuk tuk booking sits in the USD 18 tier, and LTR15 takes another 20% off, bringing it to USD 14.40 per day. That is 40% below the short-stay rate.

Sri Lankan driving permit. We help you apply and handle the paperwork. A tuk tuk needs the AAC permit, which is USD 40 with a booking and valid for six months. Scooters and motorbikes can use either the AAC permit or the DMT permit at the airport counter. Refundable deposit, taken at collection and returned when you bring the vehicle back. USD 120 for a tuk tuk, USD 100 for a scooter or motorbike.
How to Pay
Payment is taken on collection by cash, card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or a payment link we send on WhatsApp. We accept USD, EUR, GBP, and LKR. Nothing is charged in advance and there are no card fees.
The refundable deposit is taken at the same time and returned when you bring the vehicle back. Card deposits are charged rather than held, and the refund lands within two weeks of your rental ending.
