Do I need a special license to drive a Tuk Tuk in Sri Lanka?
Yes, you need a local driving permit to drive a Tuk Tuk in Sri Lanka. NohaTukTuk will arrange this for you before you arrive.
Can I use my international or foreign driving license in Sri Lanka?
No, Sri Lanka does not recognize international or foreign driving licenses. You must obtain a local Recognition Permit.
Can multiple drivers be covered under the same rental?
Yes, if you have multiple drivers, simply select the number of licenses needed from the extras section when making your reservation.
What if I want to pick up or drop off the Tuk Tuk at a location?
We have covered most of the popular tourist locations in Sri Lanka. You can select your pick-up and drop-off locations from the list as required.
Can I take the train between the trip with Tuk Tuk?
Yes! We offer a train transfer service that allows you to enjoy the scenic train trip between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. Our team will drive your Tuk Tuk to your destination while you relax on the train. Just let us know when you book, and we’ll arrange everything.
How many people can fit in a tuktuk?
A Tuk Tuk can fit 3 passengers, but we recommend traveling with 2 passengers for maximum comfort.
