NOHA TUKTUK rents self-drive tuk tuks, scooters, motorbikes and cars from Galle, on Sri Lanka's south coast. We're a small team, and we answer our own WhatsApp.
What we do
Self-drive rental
Tuk tuks, scooters, motorbikes and cars, with full insurance, unlimited kilometres, and a driving introduction lesson on every rental.
Necessary paperwork
We handle the necessary paperwork before you arrive, priced honestly and charged separately from the rental.
Delivery and one-way drop-off
Pickup and return are available island-wide, arranged on request — we deliver to your hotel, and collect wherever your trip ends.
Luggage transfer
Riding one-way on a scooter or motorbike? We can move your bags separately between towns, so you don't carry them the whole way.
Why Galle
Most rental companies on this coast are based near Colombo and the airport. We're based in Galle, where the south coast trip actually starts — Unawatuna, Weligama, Mirissa and Ella are close by, not a half-day drive away. We deliver and collect further afield, island-wide, on request.
A small team, not a call centre
NOHA is family-run. When you message us, you're talking to the people who actually hand over the keys and answer the phone at 11pm if something goes wrong — not a booking platform relaying messages.
NOHA is Dumi's business, run with his family from their own yard in Galle — the same yard the vehicles are serviced and handed over from. Message us before a trip and Dumi is usually the one who replies, and he's the name on the WhatsApp if something needs sorting mid-rental. He reviews the vehicle and driving-info pages on this site himself, so the prices, deposits and rules you read here are the ones NOHA actually charges and follows. The family works alongside a small local team — Ayesh among them — so the people who take your booking are the people who meet you at handover.
