Renting from our base in Galle
Every NOHA rental starts at our own yard in Galle, a short ride from the Fort — collect there directly, or we deliver free anywhere within 10 km, Fort included. Either way, you're handed the keys by the same team that services the vehicles, not a counter at a hotel.
Getting around the Fort
- The Fort itself is best explored on foot — narrow ramparts-lined streets with barely any traffic once you're inside the walls.
- Most guests park just outside and walk in, then use their vehicle for the coast road beyond it.
- South toward Unawatuna and Ahangama, or the day trips further down to Mirissa and Weligama, are where the vehicle earns its keep.
Which vehicle suits Galle
- Scooter or tuk tuk — comfortable if you're staying close to the Fort and exploring the immediate coast.
- Car — makes more sense once the longer runs out to Ella, Tangalle, or Colombo are part of the plan.
