Riding a motorbike out of Hiriketiya
The short hop to Dickwella doesn't need much more than a scooter, but the extra power is useful once Tangalle, Mirissa, or the run back to Galle are on the itinerary.
The coast road connecting all of these stays flat and well paved, so the motorbike's advantage is mostly about covering the longer distances — Galle is around 65 km — with less strain.
