Riding a motorbike out of Bentota
The short hops to Aluthgama, Induruwa, Beruwala, and Kosgoda don't need much more than a scooter, but the extra power pays off on the longer coast-road runs — south to Galle at 56 km, or north toward Colombo and the airport.
The whole stretch is flat, well-paved coast road, so the motorbike's advantage here is comfort and reserve power on the longer distances rather than handling difficult terrain.
