Riding a motorbike out of Nuwara Eliya
The short hops to Gregory Lake and Hakgala don't need much more than a scooter, but the extra power pays off on the climbs out to Horton Plains and Ramboda Falls, both around 20–25 km.
The longer run to Ella, about 59 km south, is where a 150cc's reserve power matters most — steady climbing and switchbacks the whole way, easier managed with more engine than less.
