Riding a scooter out of Ahangama
A scooter is the quickest way to move between Kabalana and Midigama, both under 4 km away — enough time saved on the short hops that it's worth having even if you're mostly walking to the beach itself.
Weligama and Mirissa are both comfortably reachable too, at roughly 8.5 km and 15 km on flat, easy coast road — a scooter handles the whole stretch without any real climbing or difficult traffic.
