Riding a scooter out of Arugam Bay
A scooter is the easiest way to move along the beach road between Main Point, Whiskey Point, and Pottuvil — quick, and easy to park right at the surf breaks.
The longer rides out to Kumana, Tissamaharama, or Ella add real distance and, on the Kumana approach, rougher road — plan for a full day rather than a quick there-and-back on any of these.
